Thermal fogging produces a fine mist of sanitising agents that effectively disperses micro-droplets throughout an area, reaching and settling on all surfaces to eliminate microbial contamination. During this process, the air conditioning system is kept operational, allowing the decontaminant to circulate through the return air, pass through the plant, and then redistribute via the supply air outlets. This approach provides one of the most thorough and rapid methods for sanitising and decontaminating spaces, whether it’s a small living area or a large stadium, ensuring comprehensive coverage and peace of mind.

Mist fogging disperses an ultra-fine mist of antimicrobial solution into occupied spaces, where it settles on exposed surfaces to eliminate microbial contamination. While it may not cover large areas as quickly as thermal fogging, mist fogging is highly effective for general occupied spaces and serves as an excellent supplemental method for ongoing sanitisation or as a follow-up to thermal fogging.

To address this, Dunbar Services thoroughly cleans the air conditioner filter, applies a microbial decontaminant concentrate to the coil, and installs a 15ml SanAir gel, which helps control microbial growth and maintain cleaner air for up to five weeks. With a simple gel replacement every five weeks, microbial levels stay low, reducing the risk of viral infections and enhancing air quality.
